Firmware-update: Ugreen UGOS 1.21.0.0190

Ugreen heeft een nieuwe versie van UGOS uitgebracht, de beheersoftware die op de diverse NASync-nasapparaten draait die het bedrijf maakt. Ugreen is een betrekkelijk nieuwe speler op de markt voor nasapparaten voor thuisgebruik, die voor de prijs zijn voorzien van uitstekende hardwarespecificaties. Op softwaregebied loopt het echter nog iets achter op de concurrenten, maar er wordt hard gewerkt om dat beter te maken. Ook is het mogelijk om er zelf een ander OS op te zetten, zoals bijvoorbeeld TrueNAS of Unraid. De changelog sinds versie 1.18.1.0098 kan hieronder worden gevonden.

Control Panel
  • Security > Account security: On Web/PC clients, administrators can now enforce two-factor authentication for specified users, further enhancing account security.

  • Cloud drive mounting now supports "China Mobile Cloud Drive" and "Google Drive".
  • Web/PC: Added "Open with" to the file right-click menu. Supports opening files with a system app and remembering your preference.

  • "Books" is now available. You can download and install it from "App Center".
    • Desktop
  • Web/PC: In multi-app window scenarios, moving the mouse over another window allows you to scroll its content directly, improving multi-tasking efficiency (client update required).
  • Web/PC: Added an external storage icon for quick access to open, back up, or eject external storage. The eject operation can only be performed by administrators (client and "Sync & Backup" update required).
    • Others
  • "Access & Authorization" has been added to the "Personal" page, supporting configuration of the authorization scope for external connections.
  • Web/PC: "Files", "File Version Explorer", and "Recycle Bin" now support drag-to-collapse/expand via the left sidebar ("File Version Explorer" update required).
  • Universal Search": Supports searching resources within the "Books" app.
  • Optimized the issue in "Task Center" where "Failed to get progress" was prompted when generating thumbnails.
  • Fixed some known issues to improve user experience.

  • Added support for mounting "123pan" cloud drive.
  • Fixed an issue where the process could get stuck when decompressing multiple archives in batch.
    • Recycle Bin
  • "Empty" and "Restore all" now only apply to the current path, preventing accidental impact on other directories.
    • App Center
  • The "Contacts" app is now available on mobile (mobile client update required).
  • When updating a Docker-based container app, images from older versions are automatically removed (Docker update required).
    • Support
  • Firmware logs now support custom generation scope.
    • Others
  • iOS: Added Dynamic Island support to display upload/download/backup progress for the current device (requires client update and iOS 17.2 or later).
  • Optimized the hide/show policy for files mounted via SMB. File visibility now follows the file display settings on the computer.
  • Fixed some known issues to improve user experience.

  • Optimized the sleep policy for external storage.
  • Optimized the coordination between hard drive sleep policy and fan speed.
  • Optimized data collection for SSDs equipped with multiple temperature sensors.
    • Files
  • Fixed an issue where standard users, when accessing a shared folder via a shortcut, could view folders at the same directory level for which they had no permissions.
    • Others
  • Upgraded the system kernel to version 6.18.
  • When copying or moving files, existing thumbnails are now migrated as well.
  • Fixed abnormal audio issues during HDMI screen casting playback.
  • Fixed an issue where the system falsely reported an IP conflict after creating link aggregation in network settings.
  • Fixed an issue where updating an app would automatically create a desktop shortcut.
  • Fixed some known issues to improve user experience.
