Software-update: Snagit 2026.2.0

TechSmith heeft versie 2026.2.0 van Snagit uitgebracht. Met dit programma, dat voor zowel Windows als macOS beschikbaar is, kunnen plaatjes, tekst, bewegende beelden en webpagina's worden afgevangen en bewerkt. Zo kunnen er effecten als perspectief, spotlight en magnify op worden losgelaten. Verder kunnen ter verduidelijking teksten, pijlen en cirkels worden aangebracht. De screenshots kunnen als afbeeldingen worden opgeslagen of direct in diverse programma's zoals Word en PowerPoint worden geïmporteerd. In deze uitgave zijn de volgende veranderingen en verbeteringen aangebracht:

Share Videos to Camtasia Online
  • Users can now share one or more videos to Camtasia Online, our web-based version of our screen recorder and video editor.
  • Combine multiple videos into a single project with professionally designed backgrounds and transitions.
  • Invite others to collaborate on video projects.

  • Added a Capture preset for video recordings to open in Camtasia Editor for flexible screen, camera, and audio editing.
  • Updated the Share to Email output to work with both classic Outlook for Windows and "New Outlook." This may also work for other third party email clients.
  • Added a System option to the Snagit Editor General Preferences Color theme to automatically match the Light or Dark color mode Windows setting.
  • Updated Snagit dialogs to match the appearance of Windows system dialogs.
  • Added messaging when the user has an expired subscription and is not connected to internet.
  • The Fill tool can now be applied to "floating" images that have been created, copied, or dragged onto the canvas.
  • Updated the Fill tool to no longer apply to the canvas when clicking on an annotation or floating image.
    • Performance Improvements
  • Improved the performance of hiding Snagit when taking captures, allowing for a faster experience.
  • Updated the Share to Teams and Share to Slack dialogs for improved accessibility with screen readers.

  • Fixed crashes that could sometimes occur when starting or exiting Snagit Capture or Snagit Editor.
  • Fixed a crash that could sometimes occur when opening a .SNAGX file.
  • Fixed a crash that could occur when attempting to open a malformed .snagx file.
  • Fixed multiple crashes that could occur when stopping a video recording.
  • Fixed a crash that could occur when attempting a Scrolling capture with a very small selection area.
  • Fixed a crash that could occur when the selected region for a video recording is moved beyond the edge of the display.
  • Fixed a crash that could occur when clicking Copy All in the Grab Text Results dialog.
  • Fixed a crash that could occur when renaming or creating folders in the Organize Stamps dialog.
  • Fixed a crash that could occur when initiating multiple sign-ins with Dropbox as a share destination.
  • Fixed an issue where the Snagit Capture icon might not look correct in the Windows taskbar after a video recording has been cancelled.
  • Fixed an issue where the selected stamp folder in the Organize Stamps dialog could be illegible when using the Dark color theme.
  • Fixed an issue where the operating system was not captured or available when using the Capture Info effect on images.
