Alien: Romulus Sequel

According to a new report from Nexus Point News, Michael Sarnoski (Pig, A Quiet Place: Day One) is now in talks to direct the sequel to Alien: Romulus.

Supergirl

According to World of Reel, Junkie XL is no longer attached as the composer of the Supergirl soundtrack. Instead, the film will feature an original score by Claudia Sarne.

Deadline reports Yellow Veil Pictures has acquired Grind, an upcoming horror anthology said to “tackle the modern work landscape and anxieties of late stage capitalism through four interconnected perspectives: the hustle culture of a multi-level marketing company, the endless repetitiveness of a food delivery driver, the online horrors of a content moderator, and the unionization of a familiar-feeling coffee shop.” Rob Huebel, Barbara Crampton, Vinny Thomas, Jessika Van, Christopher Rodriguez-Marquette, James Urbaniak, Courtney Pauroso, James Paxton, Ify Nwadiwe, and Aubrey Shea star.

According to Alex Kurtzman in a new interview with TV Insider, Paul Giamatti’s Nus Braka does not appear in the second season of Starfleet Academy.

In a separate interview with Trek Movie, Noga Landau revealed the villain of season two is not a person, but “an impossible dilemma.”

The villain of season 2 is not just a person. In a very classic Trek sense, it is more an impossible dilemma that we find ourselves in as Starfleet.

Young Sherlock

Speaking with Deadline, Young Sherlock producer Simon Maxwell also confirmed there are plans for a second season, though “it’s too early to say that it’s a green light” at Amazon.

It’s too early to say that it’s a green light, but we’ve got the core team and we’re in the early stages of prep, I would say. We’ve all worked together, obviously driven by Matthew, to build the story for a Season 2. The intention is very much for Guy [Ritchie] to come back and kick it off again with us.
