Newey to become Aston Martin F1 boss from 2026

It comes after a management restructuring at Aston Martin with erstwhile team principal Andy Cowell becoming chief strategy officer

Aston Martin has named Adrian Newey as its new Formula 1 team principal for the 2026 season.

The legendary engineer, who joined Aston Martin as managing technical partner on 1 March, will step into his new role as Andy Cowell moves on to a chief strategy officer position.
