THR reports Paul Rudd and Jack Black are attached to star in a meta remake of 1997’s Anaconda from director Tom Gormican. The story is said to surround “a group of friends facing mid-life crises who are remaking their favorite movie from their youth. They head to the rainforest, only to find themselves in a fight for their lives against natural disasters, giant snakes and violent criminals.”
A new listing on Production Weekly (via World of Reel) suggests Darren Aronofsky is attached to direct a film adaptation of Plastic Man for James Gunn’s DCU.
