For the first time since 2010, a Formula 1 title decider will involve more than two drivers, with Lando Norris, Max Verstappen and Oscar Piastri still in contention, following the Dutchman's victory at the Qatar Grand Prix.
Norris is still going into the Abu Dhabi round with a significant advantage, as he will become a world champion if he finishes the Yas Marina race on the podium.
Verstappen and Piastri, however, need both a podium finish and a disaster for Norris – but stranger things have happened.
In the event of a tie-breaker, Norris prevails over Piastri and Verstappen by virtue of his second-place finishes
