In this week's episode, Kevin sits down with former editor-in-chief and freelance motorsport writer Damien Smith to discuss his favourite season - 1986.

It was a season most remembered for an epic three-way title fight between Nelson Piquet and Nigel Mansell as Williams' team-mates, and eventual champion Alain Prost in his McLaren.

Together, Kevin and Damien discuss that incredible battle, including that overtake from Piquet in Hungary, the internal politics, the rise of a young Ayrton Senna, and the tragic passing of Elio de Angelis.

There's also a comparison between the Autosport and Autocourse top 10 rankings of the time.
