As noted by Yahoo!, a tie-in comic book to the MCU’s Fantastic Four: First Steps released yesterday confirms Paul Walter Hauser does indeed play the Mole Man. The comic gives Hauser’s Harvey Elder a tweaked backstory: now he’s a union organizer and politician who has developed the underworld society of Subterranea for humans and monsters alike to live away from the surface world.
THR reports actress Greta Lee will make her directorial debut with a film adaptation of The Eyes Are the Best Part, “a psychological horror” story based on the novel by Monika Kim. The story concerns a woman named Ji-won, “whose life unravels after her father has an affair and then leaves the family. She finds an inventive way to satiate her rage and hunger.”
During a recent press junket attended by Screen Rant, director Jennifer Kaytin Robinson confirmed the new I Know What You Did Last Summer provides some sort of update on Karla Wilson, the character played by Brandy in I Still Know What You Did Last Summer.

Variety reports that Netflix has tapped Byeon Woo-seok to lead a live-action series adaptation of Solo Leveling, based directly on the webtoon rather than its own anime adaptation. Woo-seok will play Sung Jinwoo, the unlikely savior of humanity who unlocks extraordinary abilities after he survives a near-death experience as a low-rank hunter.
