Software-update: Zabbix 7.4
Discover hierarchical environments using nested low-level discoveryAutomate the creation of low-level discovery rules with nested low-level discovery
Discover resources on multiple levels such as cloud services, cluster nodes, applications and underlying resources, network and IoT devices, and much moreNew type of low-level discovery prototype entity – discovery prototypeNested low-level discovery enables users to automatically create low-level discovery rules on a hostUnlimited nesting enables users to create low-level discovery rules on multiple levelsEnables much easier integration of Zabbix with configuration management systems

Hosts discovered from host prototypes can now use low-level discovery to create hosts of their ownNested host prototypes are useful when discovering multi-level entities, e.g.: Discover server clusters, where each cluster has a set of individual nodes that also need to be discovered

The Host Wizard will guide you through all the host creation and configuration steps – from creating a host and assigning templates to installing Zabbix agent on the monitored host and configuring Zabbix server for server-originated checksEach host creation step and the related configuration parameters are explained by the Host WizardChoose between manual host creation or use the Host Wizard if you prefer a guided approach

Map link and element labels can now be hidden and only be displayed on mouse hoverMap background images can now be scaled proportionally to map dimensionsMap links now support link indicators based on item value thresholds, which allows dynamically changing map link style and color whenever an item exceeds a threshold valueMap element icons can now be ordered when placed on top of one anotherHost group map elements will now take into account nested host groups when displaying host group related information
