Software-update: Tails 6.15.1

Tails staat voor 'The amnesic incognito live system' en is een live Linux-distributie die zich richt op privacy en anonimiteit. Als basis maakt het gebruik van Debian GNU/Linux en het voegt daaraan een Gnome-omgeving met Tor, Tor Browser, Pidgin, Thunderbird, Electrum, LibreOffice, GPG en KeePassXC toe. In versie 6.15.1 zijn de volgende veranderingen en verbeteringen aangebracht:

Changes and updates

Update Tor Browser to 14.5.2, which fixes Mozilla Foundation Security Advisory 2025-37. These vulnerabilities allow an attacker to perform an out-of-bounds read or write on a JavaScript object, but don't allow breaking out of the Firefox sandbox.Update Thunderbird to 128.10.1.Remove the Tor Browser and Tor Browser (persistent) folders: they are not necessary anymore, thanks to the more flexible confinement of Tor Browser we introduced in Tails 6.14.1.
