Autosport Top 50 of 2024: #7 Pascal Wehrlein

1st in Formula E World Championship

Top 50 Drivers of 2024

Autosport's team of expert journalists got together to try to assess who were the top 50 drivers of 2024. Here are the results.

Pascal Wehrlein merited his world title after making no season-defining errors. He only non-scored twice due to collisions that weren’t his fault.

Vastly improved qualifying was key; three poles meant nine bonus points, three more than his title-winning margin. His campaign began with victory in Mexico and at Misano he benefited from Oliver Rowland’s woes to win again.

PLUS: The overlooked Formula E asset that proved crucial in Porsche's title turnaround

Beating title rivals Mitch Evans and Nick Cassidy in London, on a track more suited to Jaguar, underpinned a brilliant campaign.
