Deadline reports that Gen V‘s Asa Germann has joined the film in an undisclosed supporting role.
Appearing as a guest on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, James Gunn stated he doesn’t know “if Dave [Bautista] wants to be Bane anymore” in his new DC Universe.
I don’t know if Dave wants to be Bane anymore, he used to want to be Bane. I think he would much rather be another character than Bane right now, I think that is probably the case. Of course, I love Dave and I wanna work with him again, but I am not sure he wants to be Bane anymore.

Coming Soon has a new poster for the John Wick spinoff, Ballerina, starring Ana de Armas.
Elsewhere in the Wick-verse, producer Basil Iwaynk also told The Direct he’s doubtful The Continental will get a second season.
I think we were happy with season one. I think that we talked a little bit about season two. But I think the feeling is, if we’re going to have something on television in the John Wick universe, this Robert Levine version that we went out with, that we’re negotiating with somebody, is probably the better option for the John Wick content in the TV world.
So, I loved making [The Continental]. I love[d] the 70s of [it][. I loved Albert Hughes. Everything about it. I think it was a really cool, crazy idea for it. I think now we want to put together something that is going to inform more of what the future of the franchise is going to be, yeah.
