Software-update: LocalSend 1.16.1

LocalSend is een programma waarmee bestanden en berichten kunnen worden uitgewisseld tussen apparaten op een lokaal netwerk. Het is bijvoorbeeld ideaal om foto's van een telefoon naar de computer te zenden. LocalSend is opensource en beschikbaar voor Windows, macOS, Linux, Android en iOS. Versies 1.16.0 en 1.16.1 zijn uitgekomen en de changelog van deze uitgave kan hieronder worden gevonden.

LocalSend version 1.16.0

Windows 7 is no longer supported to keep up with the latest updates from Flutter.LocalSend now uses Rust as HTTP client (rhttp). This improves performance when the sending device is the bottleneck (e.g. Android to Windows). The receiver is still written in Dart. In the future, we might also rewrite it in Rust to achieve the best performance.
