Saturday at SDCC 2024 was the biggest day of the San Diego fandom pilgrimage experience,–whether you had a badge or not it’s peak pop culture madness to see on the west coast. And of course, that means, a lot of fantastic cosplay to see!
io9 caught up with cosplayers to see some of this year’s fandom favorites filling the halls of the convention and the streets around the Gaslamp for amazing cosplays of the day. Yes, there’s Marvel, DC, and even a Karlach from Baldur’s Gate 3 who made us roll a D20 when we snapped their picture. It’s always awesome to behold by the passion and creativity of nerds like you and I (who can probably sew better than me, personally). We commend them during our annual nerd prom in the gallery below!
There’s still one day left of SDCC and if you’re cosplaying today, we want to show you off on the site, find us!
