The Final Alien: Romulus Trailer Is the Most Intense Yet

The final trailer for Alien: Romulus is gross. It’s scary. It’s intense as hell. And, yes, we love it for those reasons and a whole bunch more.

On the eve of the film’s San Diego Comic-Con panel, Fox has released one last trailer for the new film, directed by Fede Alvarez and set between the events of Alien and Aliens. It gives us our best look yet at what this movie is actually about and even hints at a few connections to the originals. Let’s just say, this was not the right heist to go on. Check out the new trailer.

Alien: Romulus co-stars Archie Renaux (Shadow and Bone), Isabela Merced (Madame Web), Spike Fearn (Aftersun), and Aileen Wu; Alvarez directs from a script he co-wrote with Rodo Sayagues. Original director Ridley Scott is a producer. It opens in theaters August 16 and tickets are on sale now.
