Software-update: Affinity Suite 2.5.3

Serif heeft versie 2.5.3 van de Affinity Suite uitgebracht. De Affinity Suite bestaat uit de programma's Photo, Designer en Publisher, en kan worden beschouwd als de tegenhanger van bijvoorbeeld Photoshop, Illustrator en InDesign van Adobe. De software is beschikbaar voor Windows, macOS en iOS, en wordt regelmatig met korting aangeboden. Verder betreft het een eenmalige aanschaf, want Serif doet niet aan abonnementen. Of dat zo blijft nu Serif door Canva is overgenomen is nog niet helemaal duidelijk. In deze uitgave zijn de volgende veranderingen en verbeteringen aangebracht:

  • Pen Tool : Preserve Selection When creating New Curves (context toolbar) is broken [AF-2665]
  • DWG import (polylines) worse in v2.5.0 & v2.5.2 [AF-3255]
  • Localization fixes
    • Bug fixes which affected Desktop (Windows and macOS)
  • Document recovery prompt after moving pages (other causes still remain)
  • Dragging out a horizontal guide can result in a vertical one instead [AF-3182]
    • Bugs fixed which specifically affected Windows
  • Type 1 fonts no longer appear listed [AF-3366]
  • App crash when adding new topics via the Index Panel [AF-2808]
    • Bugs fixed which specifically affected macOS
  • Help menu's search bar is no longer present [AF-2594]
  • Unable to set page number using 'Start/Restart Page Numbering At' in Section Manager [AF-3203]
  • Unable to dismiss Text Style Editor if font is missing on macOS [AF-3157]
  • Renaming a text style on macOS will duplicate the style on second rename [AF-3156]
  • Text Style Editor- Editing the leading value can result in the entered value being reverted when the dialog is closed [AF-3226]
    • Bugs fixed which specifically affected iPad
  • Crash with Set Selection Box [AF-3257]
  • Adding a tab stop may crash the app [AF-3404]
