Theme Park News Ahead of the Super Bowl in Vegas, Plus Disney, Universal Studios, and More

Las Vegas becomes the destination of choice this weekend with the Super Bowl taking place in Sin City. With that comes a slew of interactive pop-ups, including a Cheetos-themed wedding chapel, the Paramount+ mountain, and of course staples like Area15 and spooky escape room fun with Pennywise at Escape It.

Theme park fans know crowds are lighter whenever there’s a major sporting event, so we’re also taking a look at the happenings at Walt Disney World with the re-opening of Park 1900 and the Disneyland Resort’s Lunar New Year fun with Turning Red characters. Meanwhile, Universal Studios Orlando offers up some food and music with its Mardi Gras celebrations, and Super Nintendo World celebrates one year with a new Power Up Cafe.

Here’s the latest news from theme parks and immersive experiences.

The wildest Super Bowl pop-up in Las Vegas has to be the Cheetos wedding chapel, where you can tie the knot in a cheesy bright orange ceremony officiated by a digital Chester the Cheetah.
